This is a big update on the condition of Kristaps Porzingis.
ESPN Sources: Boston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis expected to remain sidelined for the start of the Eastern Conference Finals on Tuesday and Thursday, but there is optimism for a return in the looming series
This is bad news that he is still out – it is okay news though because it seems like he is trending back to playing.
Sports Physician Jesse Morse had this to say…
Celtics are being SUPER cautious with Porzingis and his calf injury.
I don’t blame them, as he’s an important piece but calf (soleus) strains are notorious for reinjury.
If he reinjured it then he’d be done for the rest of the season.
Depending on how the series goes, Game 3 may be a realistic possibility for #celtics Porzingis
