This is a weird story all around.
The first part is that Damian Lillard is really not a great fit for the Boston Celtics. If they could find a way to get him while keeping Jaylen Brown and Kristaps that would be one thing but considering one of them would likely have to be traded (most likely Brown because he is the better asset) it seems Lillard wouldn’t actually be that big of an upgrade.
The second part is we believe that Lillard has really bungled this trade request. By saying he will only go to the Heat he has made it much tougher for him to go to a winning situation. It is clear that the Blazers don’t like the Heat’s offer at this point.
