Football is back. Let us repeat that again, Football is back.
There is no better time of year.
If you are a reader of this site you might wonder why we don’t have any big prediction articles up. This season is going to be wild and there are far too many teams we like. We aren’t going to make predictions and have to stick by those all year instead of enjoying football.
Instead, we’re going to make some broad predictions.
The Chiefs are not going to repeat:
There is a real lack of context regarding predictions for the Chiefs this season. Last year, everyone was down on them after Tyreek Hill left. Then they went on to win the Super Bowl. This year, people are expecting them to be dominate, even if they don’t win the Super Bowl again. We are predicting a down year. Down does not mean they won’t make the playoffs, all it means is that it will be much more of a struggle. The season has already gotten off to a rough start with Chris Jones holding out and Travis Kelce getting injured.
The Patriots and Titans will be better than people think:
The Patriots and Titans have little hype around them this season. Both have great coaches but both are viewed as having very little shot of making the playoffs. In the Patriots’ case, this might be true. Their division is really tough. With that being said, this team will not be a team with 4 wins. We expect them to be right around .500. Zeke Elliott might end up being a very big addition for them team and we expect Mac Jones to look more like he did as a rookie than last year.
The Titans we expect to be in the playoffs. They have talent on both sides of the ball and just made the massive addition of DeAndre Hopkins. It is stunning to us that the Titans aren’t viewed as a possibility to win their division where only the Jaguars are their threat.
The Ravens will be frustrating all season:
Nobody knows exactly what to expect from this team. All signs point to them having a really good year. We believe they will have signs of being great and really frustrating losses all season.
We might have more predictions before the start of the year…comeback for updates.
