After a hot start in week 0, Umass travels to Auburn to face the Tigers. Week 0 Umass put 41 points on New Mexico State and looks solid now. Playing a tough Auburn will be different, but we like Umass’s new-look offense with transfers, and we like them to score some points. The spread is 35, and as much as that is a lot, there is value in the over. Umass will score less than they did last week, but their defense gave up 30 points to New Mexico State, and we think Auburn will have success versus Umass’s defense. With the over-under at 51.5, It is low enough that Umass can get a few touchdowns, and Auburn can torch Umass’s defense.
